Controversial Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley, has taken to social media to speak on corruption and how the fight is up to the Nigerian youth to take on. Despite his huge following in Nigeria, Naira Marley remains one of the most controversial musicians to ever come out of Nigeria. Marley's career seemed to have taken up following his release from EFCC custody where he was kept after his arrest for suspected fraud allegations. Shortly after his release, the Tesumole crooner went on to release songs glorifying cyber crimes. Despite the backlash he constantly receives for the content of his songs, there seems to be no stopping him. Just recently, he left many social media users stunned after he took to the micro-blogging platform to post an anti-corruption tweet.

Naira Marley advised youths, saying their only responsibility is to fight corruption. In his words: "Our only job as a youth is to fight corruption but we just don’t know it yet."

Still on the controversial music star, it appears he is trying to infuse some sanity into his fan base with some of his recent tweets on social media. One of the entertainer’s recent tweets was about advising his fans not to ruin their future.

Meanwhile, One of the top and most respected Nigerian singers, Bukola Elemide, popularly called Asa, is in the country despite living in France and she granted an interview on Cool FM radio station. The talented musician shared a few details about herself during the interview and her taste in music. According to the Jailer crooner, she is a Marlian. She said: "I think I'm a Marlian. I love him, I think he is awesome”.
