Supreme Court declares Sanwo-Olu winner of Lagos governorship election 


It was end of the road for Owolabi Salis, governorship candidate of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) as the Supreme Court ruled on the March 9 election that produced Babajide Sanwo-Olu. The judgement on Wednesday, December 18, was a unanimous decision taken by the panel of seven justices which handled the case. Justice Paul Galinje, who led the judgement, said Salis' appeal was not within the ambit of the schedule of the electoral act,
