Maame Manukure: 8-year-old Ghanaian pupil tops class a month after joining US school

Maame Akua Aseda Manukure has made Africa and Ghana proud by topping all students in her class at a school in the United States just a month after joining - The brilliant student joined the school in October 2019, and was able to exceed the pass marks for seven different subjects - The school, Trinity Elementary School, New Rochelle District, is proud of Maame's achievements and has selected her for a national competition An eight-year-old Ghanaian pupil identified as Maame Akua Aseda Manukure has topped all students in her class at Trinity Elementary School, New Rochelle District, United States, just a month after joining the school. The brilliant pupil, who joined the school in October 2019, was able to exceed the pass marks for seven different subjects in the district-wide exams, Face 2 face Africa reports.
The principal said: “Her outstanding performance in the 3rd grade exams placed her as the first Ghanaian female student to ever top all students in New Rochelle District over the past decade." Maame was given a certificate of honour by authorities of Trinity Elementary School for her outstanding performance. She will be participating in a national third grader exams where she will be competing with thousands of students across the USA. The government of the United States will give scholarships to winners of the national examination. Izoduwa emerged the first winner of the Sawnee Elementary spelling bee. Sawnee Elementary school is a part of West Community School in Georgia, Unites States. Some of the schools under the group are Vickery Creek Elementary School, Kelly Mill Elementary School, Liberty Middle School, among others.
