                           Power supply restored after collapse of National GRID


Image result for power supply photos- The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) says it has restored system collapse of the national grid - Ndidi Mbah, the general manager, public affair of TCN explains that the fault on the power grid was restored on Friday, January 17 - Mbah discloses that the initial disturbance of the grid was a partial collapse of the system The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has disclosed that the national grid has been restored after a system collapse on Thursday, January 16. Ndidi Mbah, the general manager, public affair of TCN disclosed that the fault on the power grid was restored on Friday, January 17, The Nation newspaper reports. “Full restoration of the grid was achieved at 2:19am today (Friday),” Mbah, said. 
The TCN explained that the initial disturbance of the grid was a partial collapse of the system. The electricity company stated that during the partial collapse, the grid, was still supplying power to Port-Harcourt, Aba, Omoku, Yenegoa, Afam, among others.

“Effort immediately commenced to synchronise other parts of the network but as restoration reached an advanced stage, the situation suddenly degenerated into a collapse of the nation’s grid,” Mbah explained. “Full restoration of the grid re-commenced immediately after the incident and by 10pm yesterday, most parts of the nation had been reconnected to the grid. At 2:19am, however, the grid was fully restored.”
